How about a little feedback?

Hello out there in the dark. Don't be shy. How about giving us a little feedback via our oh-so easy-to-use comments feature? I've switched off all the restrictions so you don't need to provide an email address or name, I've even turned off word verification (I can never make those darn things out anyway). At least lay a check in one of those little boxes below our stories and let me know if you like what you've read...or not.

I'd also love some feedback about whether I should retire my old site, Houdini Lives, and move all my Houdini news over here. The Blogger interface is just soooooo much better than iWeb. The Labels feature alone make me want to do everything here. I won't delete Houdini Lives. I'll leave it online as an archive and maybe update the Galleries from time to time, but the real action would be over here. So...anyone got a problem with that!

Stay tuned this week for an exclusive look at "Houdini vs. Boudini: The Forgotten Challenge." Because, remember, we're Wild About Harry. And so are you.

  1. It's GREAT! I really enjoy Houdini-Lives, but this has been just as informative. Looking forward to more exciting Houdini news!

  2. Thank you, Dean. I can just do so much more here. For example, I only found that Murdoch Mysteries Houdini episode (below) because of how Blogger interfaces with Amazon. New site, new tools, new energy. :)

  5. John, Houdini Lives is excellent. The content would work really well on this site, too. Those labels are a great feature, and I've used them profusely on an old personal blog. In any event, I think I speak for all Houdini fanatics when I say -- thank you for the news and commentary and for all the time and effort that goes into it. Tom Interval

  6. Thank you so much, Tom. I've pretty much decided I'm going to be doing all my blogging over here now. I'm migrating what I think are the most interesting stories from Houdini Lives over here. Yeah, I'm loving those Labels. Thanks again.

  7. I have only just discovered the site(s). I say do what you think will work best for you and the fans will follow! I'm a long time Houdini follower myself and really enjoy the work you've put into your site. Cheers.

  8. Good to have you aboard, Melbo. Curious by what path you discovered the site(s)? I do think this blog is more "discoverable". In time, I think it will rank high in Google searches for "Houdini."

  10. John I think I was searching for "Houdini films" and the first thing I saw was the review of "The Great Houdinis". I realised then though that I had seen your original site before at some stage, possibly on another Houdini related search!

  12. BTW, the photo above, which I just love, is from Terror Island. A photo from the same scene is misidentified as being from The Man From Beyond in the Kalush/Sloman book.
