Congratulations to the winners! Your names and addresses have been forwarded to the publisher who will send out your books. Thanks to everyone (35 total) who entered the drawing.
Now, here are the answers to our entry questions:
- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle created the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Name the title of at least one book that teamed-up Houdini and Holmes in a fictional adventure. The Pandora Plague, The Adventure of the Ectoplasmic Man, Sherlock Holmes and the Houdini Birthright, and Pulptime are all books that feature Houdini and Sherlock Holmes.
- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was played by which famous actor in the 1976 television movie, The Great Houdinis? Peter Cushing, fresh off the set of Star Wars, played Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in The Great Houdinis.
- Name at least one mistake Lady Doyle made when she supposedly contacted Houdini's mother during their Atlantic City seance? Lady Doyle made the sign of the cross, wrote in English, and also made no mention of the fact that it was her birthday.

ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of selling of all my magic collection, but this is a keeper. It'll go along side "Houdini!"," The Houdini Code", & "Teller of Tails" at my new diggs.
Thank you,
David Sweeney
