Our good friend Tom Interval has posted to his blog Interval Magic details of how he's helped actress Kristen Connolly prepare for her role as Bess Houdini in the upcoming Houdini miniseries, and about his dinner last Saturday at the Magic Castle with Kristen (which I was honored to have been invited). Thanks for sharing this, John. I was so happy you could make it. Your insight and ideas made the evening much more valuable to her, and I couldn't imagine her not tapping your wealth of knowledge. In short, _we_ helped her, and I hope I didn't imply otherwise. And thanks again for giving her the grand tour of the Castle and showing her the Houdini section of the library. I couldn't have done that nearly as thoroughly since I'm such a new member.
ReplyDeleteHey, you went the extra mile and then some with that 87 page Bessie breakdown. That's a masterpiece. It's helped me! :)
DeleteThank you, sir. Glad it helped. Wish I had more time to expand it and more thoroughly cite sources, including your website.
