Preview and pre-order the Houdini soundtrack
The soundtrack to HISTORY's Houdini miniseries is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The soundtrack by John Debney comes on two volumes (one for each night) and will be available as an MP3 on August 26 and on CD September 30. The MP3 pages offer previews all the tracks of Debney's highly electronic score.

Wow... Highly electronic is right! I was surprised by this soundtrack, and not in a good way. If I had listened to this without knowing what it was from, a biopic about Houdini would be the last thing I'd think of. I usually like John Debney's work, but this is a bit too quirky for me. It sounds more appropriate for a sci-fi action flick or a modern-day horror film.
