Just in case you needed more evidence that the Houdini Broadway musical is dead, composer Stephen Schwartz is now off the project, according to Broadway World:
When asked about "Houdini", the musical which was originally set to star Hugh Jackman in a Broadway run, Schwartz revealed his involvement with that project is over, "although others may pursue it."
Schwartz's departure follows that of writer Aaron Sorkin in early 2013 and star Hugh Jackman in December of that same year. The project was first announced in 2008. Below is the timeline of what has been a disappointing journey for Houdini fans.
