Comedian brings Houdini into the act
Lawrence Leung, an Australian comedian and star of the TV series Choose Your Own Adventure and Unbelievable, is performing a new stand up comedy show called The Escapist at Trades Hall in Melbourne, Australia through April 16. The show will then travel to Perth (May 1) and Sydney (May 14-16).
In the show, Leung weaves stories of Houdini's visit to Melbourne in 1910 with his own experiences in magic, such as purchasing his own straitjacket through an online Romanian fetish supply store.
You can find more information about the show at www.lawrenceleung.com.

Straitjacket fail! Mr. Leung is already halfway out of the jacket!
ReplyDeleteIncorrect!!!
He's a comedian, not an escape artist, so we'll give him a pass. But, yes, straitjacket fail.
