Our friend David Saltman of The Houdini File recently traveled to Appleton, Wisconsin and has filed some interesting reports. Not only did he take a nice photo safari of Houdini's home town, but David also did research at the Outagamie County Historical Society where he was able to examine rare documents and writings from Houdini's father, Mayer Samuel Weiss. ReplyDeleteWow, this is so cool to read, and to hear more clues as to the nature of Mr. M. S. Weiss. That maybe he wasn't solely a victim, but rather that he sometimes had a problem maintaining the peace, or wasn't willing to bend over backward for whatever Hammel wanted. We can only surmise. But it's great to have new info about this. :)
