It's become sport to recommend magicians to Spectral Motion owner and Magic Castle member, Mike Elizalde. I've been pushing for Blackstone and Doug Henning myself.

ReplyDeleteWe've talked in-house about doing a Henning bust, in the style of our Houdini and Conan Doyle pieces. There may some issues with Doug's estate, though, I've been told, and frankly, the market is so very tiny for all of these things (Spectral Motion's very expensive solid-bronze versions, and our more humbly-priced cold cast bronze offerings, included).
While we offered up to a thousand potential signed and numbered busts to each customer. Spectral Motion offers only two-dozen of some, and up to 30 of others. Both they and we still have plenty on our shelves, which sit, sadly, unsold.
