Today I had the pleasure of being a guest speaker at Tom Ogden's course Boo! Ghosts and Hauntings at UCLA Extension OSHER. This class focused on magic and magicians in the world of the paranormal. Tom covered the first half with a discussion that took us from Ancient Egypt through 1950s Spook Shows and The Amazing Randi. He then gave me the second half to discuss the greatest ghostbusting magician of them all -- Houdini!It was a great group who really seemed to take an interest in the subject. I also brought along a signed copy of A Magician Among The Spirits to share with the class.
