Here's a clipping from the
Bridgeport Post, November 21, 1947 touting "Houdini Lives Again," a traveling magic show headed by Hardeen Jr. (Douglas Geoffrey) and Sherms (Robert Sherman). But it's pretty assistant Sally Shulman who gets most of the attention here.
Despite what the story says, Hardeen Jr. was not Theo Hardeen's brother. He was Hardeen's assistant, Douglas Geoffrey, whom Dash named as his successor shortly before his death.
