Houdini and Kellar and Thurston, oh my!

Here's a terrific image I've never seen before posted by Ken Trombly on his magic_posters Instagram. Quite the gathering!

Here is an unusual picture, as it includes three of Magic’s greatest names ...Harry Houdini, Harry Kellar and Kellar’s newly announced successor Howard Thurston ( seated to the left with dark bow tie) all at the Hotel Marlborough in New York City on June 4, 1908 at a banquet for the Society of American Magicians. It's interesting to note that this was taken just one month before Houdini resigned from the S.A.M. in July 1908, due largely over his feud with Sphinx publisher Dr. A.M. Wilson. The full photo appeared in the June 1908 issue of Houdini's Conjurers Monthly Magazine.
