It was Andre the Giant who played Bigfoot in that episode. I believe Stephanie Powers was in that episode as well. I wonder if there's an Andre the Giant and Houdini connection somewhere.
Stephanie Powers was in that episode? I don't recall that. (But I think there were a few Bigfoot episodes.) I loved The Six Million Dollar Man. In fact, in my Houdini scrapbook I pasted a trading card showing Steve Austin "escaping handcuffs as if they were string."
Yep--Stephanie was in that 3rd season, 16th episode: The Secret of Bigfoot: Part I. I also loved watching The Six Million Dollar Man back then and try to catch it on cable channels like Cozi or MeTV.

Wow! No one in history has done more to keep Houdini's name alive except Houdini himself. What a massive dispense of knowledge, time and work. IMPRESSIVE! Dick Brookz and Dorothy Dietrich The Houdini Museum Scranton, PA The only Building in the World Dedicated to Houdini

ReplyDeleteJohn Cox is now the 6 Million Dollar Man. We can make him better than he was...stronger, faster.
ReplyDeleteHa! Exactly. Now I can fight Bionic Bigfoot.

A very nice compliment! Thanks D&D. But I would argue that among those who have carried the Houdini torch, you are both well out front. :)
