In recent years there has been speculation about a possible romance between Houdini and Hattie. You can read more about that at Dean Carnegie's The Magic Detective. Very interesting. Also intriguing to see that well-known portrait of Houdini in such a large format. I wonder if it was used for advertising or is just a large reproduction of that photo.
