My first impression after purchasing a copy was to notice it's not a big book. A quick read of magic and Houdini from a layman's perspective. I was hoping for tidbits and stories from the magic historians that Posnanski interviewed. The Houdini story that Mike Caveney shared was worth the price of admission.
ReplyDeleteThe chapters on the Mirror Cuff Challenge were interesting. Posnanski summarizes the three leading theories on Houdni's method. He quotes Randi as saying the method is unknown, but Randi did tell Silverman that HH used nothing but the key.
