Houdini's advice for retailers

I don't know if this is even remotely true, but this is Houdini being Houdini. He always had some wisdom to impart and newspapers were always happy to print it. Enjoy!

  1. Interesting this kind of NLP stuff was already around during Harry's time. Since we read left to right in most Western countries our eyes quickly glance toward the right.

Eye direction when speaking to others is now used to determine intent:

"What direction do your eyes move when you're lying?
A number of studies talk about the direction of eyes during lies. Typically, when people look up and to the right, they are lying or tapping into their imagination. When they look up and to the left, they are remembering or recalling something, tapping into the memory part of the brain."
